Donald Brown DVM, PhD is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, the only ACVIM board-certified veterinary cardiologist based in Vermont. Before relocating to Vermont, Don was on the faculty of Tufts University’s Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine for 16+ years. At Tufts, he helped teach the current generation of veterinarians and trained veterinary specialists in cardiology at one of the busiest clinical practices in the country. Don also holds a PhD in biomedical engineering having studied cardiovascular physics and physiology. Don retains his affiliation with Tufts and has lectured to veterinarians and specialists on cardiology topics across the country.
Don is joined by his wife, Jenny Garber DVM with 25+ years of real-world veterinary practice experience. Jenny has been a general practitioner, working in top quality Massachusetts veterinary practices for the past 16 years. Together, Don and Jenny bring state-of-the-art cardiovascular procedures, interpretations, and recommendations for pet owners who want the best possible care.
